Show LYNNDYL ... The Relief Society will give a party Tuesday for the retiring officers of-ficers and teachers and also for Mrs. Gunn, who is leaving to make her home in Los Angeles. Mery Johnson spent Sunday, Mothers' Day, in Fillmore with her parents. She went to Delta and drove over with Ray Fitzgerald. Bill Jcffers spent the week end in Fillmore. Mrs. Jean Jeffers entertained at dinner in honor of Miss Mery Johnson, John-son, who will leave as soon as school closes. Mrs. Jean DeFord drove to Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nielson and children Sunday to visit relatives and will return Monday Mon-day evening. Mrs. Betty Rosenbaum spent a few days in Salt Lake visiting her friends and shopping. Mr. John Nielson has recovered from his recent illness and is visit- l ing with his son and daughler-in-I law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nielson. I Mr. Nielson has been in Pleasant .drove, staying with relatives. Betty Nielson entertained the sewing club Thursday evening. The guests were: Neva Harvey, Mery Johnson, Billie Huntsman, Ruth Abeglenn, Nadine Sheriff, Norene Shipley, Rosalee Banks, Clea Dut-son, Dut-son, Donna Terry and Edna Haycock. Hay-cock. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Campbell of Milford were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCardell for a few days. Mrs. Jerome Ivy spent Monday in Salt Lake City. Clea Dutson will leave May 26 for Texas to join her husband, who is stationed there. Monday evening Thelma Clark gave a going away party for Miss Mery Johnson. Pinochle and rook was played during the evening. A delicious luncheon was served to the following guests: Cora Paxton, Christian Pendray, Mary Edwards, Jean Jeffers, Neva Harvey, Effie Allen, Ruth Nielson, ElDonna Coleman, Donna Mae Nielson, Frances Allen and Marie James. Each guest gave her a handkerchief. handker-chief. Mrs. Clyde Coleman left Sunday morning to join her husband in Salt Lake and spend a few days. Little Neil Fernley of Caliente will arrive Sunday to spend a few days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Simpson.
