Show Country Club Meets . . . The Country Club met Monday night with Mrs. June Reid as the hostess. A luncheon was served at the Hotel Southern Cafe and then bridge was played at the home of Mrs. Quin Shepherd. Members present were Mesdames Bub Bassett, Bas-sett, Roy Steele Quin Shepherd, Sam Hales, Leigh Maxfield, Ron Mortensen, Brose and Roberts. The guests were Mesdames Eldon Jon-sen, Jon-sen, Frank Bishop and Rawleigh Franklin. Rook Party Given . . . Mrs. Angie Pratt entertained at a rook party at her home last week. Dinner was served to guests, Mrs. Hope Bennett, Mrs. Norma Bishop, Mrs. Rae Jensen, Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Spendlove, Mrs. DeLoise Robins, Rob-ins, Miss Joyce Jordon, Mrs. May Pratt, Mrs. Fannie Hilton, Mrs. Harriet Har-riet Spendlove, Mrs. Bina Ekins, Mrs. Dana Bishop, Mrs. Thora Buchanan, Bu-chanan, Mrs. Lula Cropper, Mrs. Mae Barton, Mrs. Belva Morris, Mrs. Manon Robison, Mrs. Helen Shurtliff, Mrs. Dean Holt, Mrs. Elaine Hardy and Mrs. Erma Cropper. Crop-per. High prizes at rook were won by Mrs. Dana Bishop and Mrs. Harriet Spendlove. Mrs. Thora Buchanan won low score. |
