Show il ftrJTIIKHLAXI) . . . Mrs. T. Sorenson I Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson and j family returned home Monday from Salt Lake City, where they visited ! Bishop and Mrs. George R. Jackson. Jack-son. Visiting at the home of their father, Charles M. Jensen, over the weekend, were Mr. and Mrs. Garff Maxfield and Mrs. Beth Brasher. Pat Barney, who has been in the Holy Cross hospital for two weeks, for treatments for the burns he received in his recent accident, returned re-turned home Saturday night with Mrs. Barney, and is much improved. Avon Barney and daughter, Betty Bet-ty Grace, are visiting in Los Angeles Ang-eles this week. Mrs. Doyle Steele left this week for Vallejo, California, to visit her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Frazier, and the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jensen and daughter, Elsie, made a trip to Richfield during the week to visit Mrs. Jensen's sister there. Mr. and Mrs. Benny Robinson and family have moved back to their home in Sutherland, after a winter in Logan, where Mr. Robinson attended at-tended the USAC, Friday Armond Ogden drove to Ogden to bring his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fin-cum, Fin-cum, home for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. iFincum are moving soon to Iowa, to make their home. Donna Belle Christensen and Rodney Porter, students at the U. S. A. C. at Logan, were visitors at home for the weekend. The Relief Society presented the program of "Building for Eternity" Etern-ity" at meeting Sunday evening. The opening song was given by the Singing Mothers, and prayer was .offered by Reed Tippetts. The ladies trio, Nella Jackson, Hazel Walker and Dora Rose, sang a number. Reading parts were taken tak-en by Virginia Lyman, Shirley De-Lapp De-Lapp and Tanetta Sorenson. The closing music was, by the Singing Mothers. Mrs. Artie Henderson, of the stake Relief Society presidency, was in attendance. The closing prayer was by Thurman Moody. Wednesday evening Heber Rose and M. J. Moody were guests of honor at a surprise party at the Rose home, given by their wives to celebrate their birthdays that day. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Golden Erickson, Bishop and Mrs. Bryant Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Thur-man Moody, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rawlinson, Bishop and Mrs. Cutler Henrie, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Tippetts, Mr. and Mrs. Max Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Johnson and Mr. fend Mrs. Ike Sorenson. Games entertained enter-tained the guests, and a delicious supper was served. |
