Show D.U.P.To Hold Convention In Delta Saturday All who are eligible for membership member-ship in Daughters of Utah Pioneers are invited to attend the convention conven-tion of the West Millard Chapter, which will be held in Delta, Saturday, Satur-day, at 2 p. m. in Delta Second Ward chapel. Chapter president, Waiora B. Wallace, urges all who are interested in the preservation of landmarks and the completion of a complete and accurate history his-tory of West Millard, to attend the meeting. Mrs. Kate B. Carter, president, and other representatives of the State Central Committee, will dis- cuss the gathering and preservation preserva-tion of history and pioneer land-' marks with special mention of points of local interest. Several ag- encies are reported to have interest inter-est in the possibilities of making a small park of the site of the old Deseret Fort and monument. A report re-port of the request to Central Company for granting an official D. U. P. marker for McCullough cabin will be given.' Progress is being made for the preservation ' and landscaping of this landmark, . which was the second home in Del-! Del-! ta town, first post office, first store and where the first Sunday School was organized. These talks will be interspersed with beautiful and appropriate ap-propriate musical numbers.
