Show Relief Societies To Observe 105fh Birthday i Observing the 106th anniversary of the organization of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, special I programs are being prepared by the wards for the week of March On Sunday evening. March 14, a I special program, "Builders for Eternity", was presented in the wards, reviewing the history and , objectives of the women's organ-: ization founded March 17, 1842, at i Nauvoo, Illinois. Delta First ward Relief Society are observing the annual day with a social in the ward hall on Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, March 16. A book review will be given by Mrs. Adrian Ad-rian Hansen, and musical numbers num-bers on the program, after refreshments refresh-ments will be served. On the Sunday Sun-day evening program, readers were : Louise Adams, Loa Black and Margaret Mar-garet Jensen. Music was arranged , I by Mrs. Johanna Dekker, with numbers num-bers by a trio, a quartet' and a , double mixed quartet. The stake visitor was Mrs. Erma Ekins. Delta Second ward are preparing prepar-ing a special program and refreshments refresh-ments for their annual day, which will be held in the ward hall at their regular meeting time on Tuesday afternoon, March 16. Mrs. Maline Gardner was the stake visitor vis-itor at their program Sunday even-in even-in p Pearlers were Savaila Sanford. Verna Gardner and Nellie Soren-son. Soren-son. Music was furnished by Thel-ma Thel-ma Black, Carol Schlappi, Ada Johnson, Emma Hunsaker, Deonna Black and Ruby Bishop, accompanied accompan-ied by Lucille Stapley. The Delta Third ward Relief Society, So-ciety, newly organized, gave the program Sunday night, with readers, read-ers, LaFaun Lovell, Mary "Moody and Margaret Callister. Music was furnished by Lola Dalton, Arvetta Nickle and Fawn Taylor, with a trio, and Mrs. Cecil Beckstead and Anna Billings, a duet, accompaniments accompani-ments were played by Eugene Hol-man. Next Tuesday, March 16, they plan their observance of the annual an-nual day with a program, games and refreshments in the Delta Seminary building, where they meet, and extend an invitation to all the women of the ward to join with them. |
