Show AMERICAN TROOPS GET DOWN TO REAL TRAINING IN FRANCE American Training Camp, Somewhere. Some-where. In France, July 16. The American general arrived last night and today began suplrvlstng the Initial In-itial work of his troops who aro nearly near-ly all here. At noon today tho general gen-eral commanding the French troops who will train with the American troops and give them tho benefit or their long and varied experience also reached the camp. Tho scone was Impressive, tho more so bocause ot Its staging in a quaint little village which turned out to the last child to see the newcomers, new-comers, whom they hall as saviors. Tho army Is fast getting down to real work and tho countryside is swarming over with squads bound to and from training places or with supply columns. To the best of their ability the poople of the entire neighborhood neigh-borhood wolcomed the newcomers with groat enthusiasm, and tho Americans only have languago difficulties diffi-culties in fraternizing with tholr hosts. Tho troops almost without exception havo been billeted about tho countryMdo and are fast getting accustomed to the French ways of living.
