Show LOVER WHO KILLED RIVAL IS FOUND ON MAIN STREET AFTER A LONG SEARCH Salt Lako City, July 17. After a supposed man hunt through every western state and through all parts of Utah, especially in the mining min-ing camp3, Peter Dlsero, alleged slayer of Angela Caruso at Garfield, Juno 30, 1917, was found calmly loitering on the Main streets of Salt Lake. Edwin Burnes, a special deputy sheriff of the Utah Copper company at Garfield, who was acquainted with the man, was walking on Main ' street, at Second South when ho recognized rec-ognized Dlsero. The prisoner was turned orer to C. C. Carstensen, chief criminal deputy, and lodged in the county jail without ball. Dlsero confessed that ho was the man who was wanted for the murder. In explaining his actions he verified statements of eyewitnesses that in a .L drunken brawl he had killed Caruso. Dlsero and Caruso had been lifelong life-long frlonds, coming from the same part of Italy and emigrating to this country together. While drunk In Garfield, on Juno 30 last, tho two men got to quarreling over a girl whom they both loved, and who is still In Italy. Dlsero killed his, friend and rival. |
