The Misses Mary and Mattlo Douglas Doug-las have gono to Howoll, Utah, for the summer. A crowd of our young folks have gone to Bear Lake, where thoy will remain until after the 24th. Tho hospitable Maughan home echoed with tho laugbtor and merriment of sixty young poople. The evening was enjoyod by all. Dr. Warren Chrlstensen was called to Falnrlew, Sanpete county, by tho death ot his father on Saturday, July 14. Tho doctor expects to return lu a few days. Miss May Reynolds Is convalescing after hor operation and expects to return re-turn home lu-ii fow days.
