Mr. Barker got a horse from a man ploughing and soon captured cap-tured the man going towards the river. Ho was brought back to the Junction and placed under guard while Mr. Baiker went to Newton to look for the other man. Ho was located lo-cated hi Mr. Clark's bain, and being covered with shooting Irons, at once showed his willingness to be good. He was handcuffed aud brought to the Junction. When Sheriff Joscphson arilved at Junction one of the convicts was hand cuffed and the other under guard. Sheriff Joscphson took no pait in tho capture of the convicts, and when he went into depot to get tho man under guard ho was In a flood of excitement, ex-citement, for he no sooner entered the depot than ho began hand culling the passengers and ho saw marks on every aim he looked at. Deputy Shcrilf Barker, who captured captur-ed the convicts, and otheis who helped help-ed hold them, have not iccelved thanks, while the big sherllf from Brigham gets the credit and tho reward. re-ward.
