Show The Roosevelt Dam in Arizona The Roosevelt dam will eclipse In magnitude of cubic contents all ot the dams at present under construction by the Reclamation Service. It will contain con-tain 330,000 cublo yards ot masonry, or over six times more than the Path-finder, Path-finder, and nearly rive times as much as the Shoshone dam. Its height will be 280 feet from foundation, length on top 030 foot (or, Including spillway bridges, 1090 feet),and Its thickness at the base 103 feet. In plan, although built in the form of an arch, this structure differs from the Shoshone and Pathfinder dams In belnir of the gravity type, wherein mass alone Is sufficient to secure Stability.
