Show Family Reunion. NEWTON, Jan.13.-The children, four daughters and three sons, and some other relatives gave Mrs. Ann Clark a very pleasant rurprise Tuesday Tues-day evening of last week. This was Mrs. Clark's 70th birthday anniversary ahd the occasion will undoubtedly be a sweet memory to her. There was a big supper, and a birthday cake made by Mrs. Alice Chrlstensen, a Newton New-ton lady known far and near as a culinary artist without a peer. The evening was spent in pleasures common com-mon to such occasions and Grandma Clark was mado as happy as could be. Tho guests left wishing her health and many more anniversaries, Tho Y. L. M. I. A. gave a party a few nights ago and raised $50 to assist Miss May Jensen In paying a hosplta) bill incident to an operation performed perform-ed In Logan about a month ago. Ballard a genuine gen-uine surprise on Friday. They notl-lied notl-lied her that they would hold a meeting meet-ing at lior home, but when they went they took picnic along and turned tho meeting into a Jolly good time. Wm. F. Jensen, who has been sick for a month or more, Is recovering now. Mr. Jensen Is ono ot Newton's school trustees.! i Niels Jacobscn and George Clark went over to tho county seat Saturday.
