Show Reward offered on thefts in Parowan valley Five hundred dollars for use as a reward was approved by the Iron County Commission last week to help curtail vandalism that has occured in Parowan Valley recently. A delegation from the area met with the commission urging some type of action to effectively curtail thefts in the valley. Based on the commissions approval of funds representatives in the area added to the reward money to bring the total of $1500 for information in-formation that would lead to the arrest and conviction of specific thefts that have occured. Principally the reward, being offered through the Iron County Sherif's office, is for a powder calf chute and for 60 rolls of bailing wire. It was also recommended that periodic road blocks by the Sheriff's department be conducted. |
