Show Visitor succumbs to heart attack By Hilma Lamoreaux A tragic incident occured in the west part of Paragonah on Tuesday of last week. George Monnett and his wife of St George had come to town to pick apples from trees on the property owned by their son, Brownie, of LaVerkin. A bull being pastured in the lot by a neighbor charged at the man and chased him around. When the animal could not be frightened away the man ran from it, fell, and collapsed with a heart attack, although the animal never did hit him. Help was summoned by the wife and Mr. Mennett was taken ta-ken to the hospital in Cedar City where he was pronounced dead. Funeral services and burial , were In St. George Friday. |
