Show surviving are 23 grandchildren, grandchild-ren, 18 great grandchildren, and three brothers: Ira Mil-lett Mil-lett and Vinal Millet, both of Salt Lake City, and Virgil Millett, Rockville. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Dr. J. & Prestwich and President Robert Linford, with remarks by Tom Cardon, counselor coun-selor in the Seventh Ward Bishopric, who conducted. A tribute was given by Vera Isom. Family prayer was offered by Norman Sunderland. Invo. cation was by Antone P. Hunter Hunt-er and the benediction was by Ralph Thompson. Dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was by George Manning. Musical selections included a selection, Come Ye Blessed of My Father," by the Seventh Ward Relief Society Chorus, under the direction of JoAnn Mills; and a vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," by Ralph Hafen, accompanied by Irene Hyatt, who also rendered ren-dered the prelude and post-lude post-lude music. Rites held for Nora M. Schoppmann Funeral services for Nora Millett Schoppmann, 78, were held Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the Cedar City Seventh Ward Chapel under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mor tuary. Mrs. Schoppmann died Oct 27 at her residence in Cedar City of natural causes. She was born Oct. 14, 1895 in Shonesbury, Utah to Bryon Glines and Ida DeMille Millett. Mil-lett. She married John V. Schoppmann June 16, 1917 in Parowan. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Mr. Schoppmann died Oct 29, 1968. Mcs. Schoppmann has been a resident of southern Utah her entire life spending her early years near Rockville. There she was an active member, mem-ber, of the LDS Church having served as ward organist for many years. Later she married and moved to Cedar City where she also served as ward organist in the Cedar First Ward for many years. Survivors include four sons and a daughter: Melvin J., Page, Ariz.; Duard, William and Ira, all of Cedar City; and Mrs. Delwln (Norine) Stan-worth, Stan-worth, Las Vegas, Nev. Also |
