Show Funeral services held for William C. Taylor Funeral services for William Charles (Chuck) Taylor, 22, who died in his home October 23 of a kidney disease were held Friday, Oct 26 at 12 noon in the Cedar Stake Center under the direction of Metcalf Southern South-ern Utah Mortuary. Bom Feb. 25. 1951. to William Riley and Retta L. Gardner Taylor In Cedar City. He spent 11 years In the Cedar City schools, was a member of the LDS Church and belonged to the Teamsters Union in Hurricane. Hurri-cane. Survivors Include his parents. Cedar City; a grandmother, Gladyi L. Grater of Olthe, Colorado; Col-orado; one brother, Riley Dean, three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth JTerrle) Lee Ames; Jane Ann Taylor and Kay Lynn Taylor, all of Cedar City. A brother-in-law, St. Kenneth Lee Ames assigned with the USAF at Thl land, also survives. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Allen Heaton and Joseph Jos-eph Allen Worthen with remarks re-marks by Bishop Boyd BJaden, who conducted. Family prayer was offered by Burt Taylor. Invocation was by Rulon Woodbury and the benediction by Kenneth Grien-er. Grien-er. Dedication of the grave at the Delta City Cemetery was by Burt Taylor. Musical selections Included a rendition by the Harold Butcher quartet Including Anna Mae Perry, Eleanor Pectol, Marilyr Heap and Shirley Higbee, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. Butcher; a vocal solo, "Beyond the Sunset" by Gene Roundy and a selec- tlon, "A Little Spot In Heaven," by Harold Butcher. Prelude and postlude music was rendered by VaLalne Bladen. |
