Show I ! WINS TOP HONORS. This float entered by the Cedar Fourteenth Four-teenth Ward won first place honors in the Pioneer Day Parade staged in Cedar City Thursday, July 24 by the Cedar Stake. Second place honors went to the Ninth Ward entry entitled UlTWIiln1 iiilMMW)&iaajiaMira I "Friendship," and a float entered by the Indian Branch and the "Good" Samaritan," entered by the Cedar West Stake tied for third place honors. v ' ---EEEr" r " - - . ..... - I LEAD PARADE ACTIVITIES. Cedar High School band was on hand for the Pioneer Day Parade in Cedar City. The talented musical group, under the direction of Larry Wright, led the parade that was witnessed by residents from throughout the area. Parade "highlighted the day-long celebration. |
