Show 1 . Earl Hanson named chairman I of Cedar City Coordinating Council many positions with the Red Cross. He will succeed Mitchell Lunt as Chairman. Mr. Lunt will remain 'on the Committee for another year in an advisory capacity. Maridon Neilson was elected Vice Chairman of the Central Committee. Mrs. Neilson has served for one year on the Committee and has been assigned to the Music Arts Committee. She is a native of Cedar City. She has given much service in Church and Com munity here. She has been active in PTA, has participated in Orotio Society and Music Arts. She will succeed Loraine Juvelin as Vice Chairman. Three new assignments were also made at the Thursday meeting. The two new elected members, Dr. Richard Whitney and Kathryn Ipson, were in attendance at-tendance and were assigned to the Recreation Committee and' the Youth Council respectfully. Mitchell Lunt was appointed to the Beautification Committee. ; The Cedar City Coordinating j Council has a new chairman. Mr. Hansen has served two - years as a member of the Central ; Committee where his assign- ; ment has been with the Recreation Committee. He is well known in Cedar City and has given "many years of service to this Community. He came to Southern Utah 14 years ago as Division Manager of t Cal Pac. Utilities Company. He has served as president of both I Chamber of Commerce and j Kiwanis Clubs, is a member of the Elks Club and has served in |
