Show 1. ,0 OUTSTANDING PUBLIC EMPLOYEE AWARD. Ross Glass, left and Sandra McCall, middle, receive the plaque award for the Five County UPEA District Outstanding Public Employee, presented by Bud Bowman, District Representative of the UPEA. Five County Association honor Sandra McCall, Ross Glass The Five County District of the Utah Public Employee Association presented the Outstanding Public Employee Award plaque to Sandra McCall, Secretary for the Division of Water Rights, and to Ross Glass, Investigator for Business Regulation Department Contractors. Con-tractors. This award is identified with an employee's distinguished service to public1' employment and the plaque awards were presented to McCall and Glass at the Five County UPEA District Business meeting on Thursday, Mar. 19 at the Highway Department. Bud Bowan, District Representative of the UPEA, presented the award. Ross L. Glass has been an employee of the State of Utah for fourteen years. He is a member of the Cedar City Lions Club, and has served the position of secretary for the past 19 years. He was also a member of the Cedar City Volunteer Fire Department for the last 20 years, and has been a member of the Utah State Firemen's Association for the past 25 years. Sandra McCall has been . employed by the State of Utah for fourteen years and is extremely talented concerning knowledge on the water rights in Utah. McCall has been an active member of UPEA, and has served on past boards and is presently serving as a board member in the five county area. She is the mother of two daughters, Terrl, 18 and Renae, 13, and has been very active in the Girl Scouting Program. Jaine Adams, Administrative Aid for Wildlife Resources, is the Five County District UPEA Outstanding Public Employee chairman. A state competition will be held in Salt Lake City sometime in September, when the ten (five men; five women) . outstanding Utah employees will compete for a final selection. This award program strives to improve the image of the public employee and to motivate employees em-ployees to improve themselves and give still better performance in serving the public. |
