Show K. Fred Leigh dies in Salt Lake invocation was offered by Donald Murdock; speakers were Bishop Gerald Moser and Jim Cox. A vocal solo was sung by Sue Jensen "Somewheree my Love". The benediction was offered by Wallace Flanigan with Roger Chidester dedicating the grave. Cedar City Elks Lodge 1556 gave Elks Graveside Services and the Cedar City Veterans performed graveside services. Burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Salisbury & Graff Mortuary. fa , ; K.FREDRICK LEIGH . Kumen Fredrick Leigh 51, died July 20, 1976 in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born June 5, 1925 in Cedar City to Kumen and Henrietta Pryor Leigh. Married Bonnie McConnell Dec. 26, 1951; divorced;, married Verla Wilde July 24, 1965 in Caliente, Nev. He was a member of the LDS Church; member of the Cedar City Elks Lodge 1556; Veteran of World War II where he served in the Navy and was a welder for Utah International. He is sur-, sur-, vived by his wife, a son Bradley F. Leigh both of Cedar City; a daughter Mrs. Gary (Debra) Turnbeaugh of St. George; a stepdaughter Mrs. Robert (Preiscilla Vicki) Sherman of Helper.. Also surviving are five grandchildren, a brother Cardon N. Leigh of Midvale and a sister Thora L. Cox of Cedar City. Funeral services were held Friday July 23, 1976 in the Cedai Eleventh LDS Ward Chapel. The family prayer was offered by Cardon Leigh with Milta Goodwin playing the prelude postlude music and Bishop Harold Hiskey conducting. The |
