Show PARAGONAH NEWS The Misses Wendy and Holly Robinson arrived here from Jackson Hole, Wyo. to spend a few days with their people, the Boyd Robinson family. Miss Tiffany Rutherford of Salt Lake City is visiting here with her friend Annette Talbot and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund spent Sun. in Cedar City with their son Heber and his family. Mrs. Rowena Stones arrived home on Mon. July 19th after a two week visit in Craig, Colo, with Robert and Eleanor Negley and their family. She traveled to Craig with Miss Helen Stones who visited for a few days with cousins, Mrs. Mary Tuttle in Craig and the Rex Robinsons and Howard Robinsons in Rifle before returning to Paragonah. On July 17 Miss Helen Stones left for Calif, for a visit with the Raymond Lowe family. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Thornton and son Mike of Ogden arrived here Sat. night for a visit with the Earl Thorntons. Miss Cindy Robinson of Orem and three of her friends came to spend the holiday weekend with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson. On Sat. the young people were traveling between Horse Valley and Panguitch Lake when one of the young men, Kenneth Cunningham Cun-ningham had a motorcycle accident ac-cident and ended up in the Panguitch Hospital with a broken collarbone and three broken ribs. It was a sad ending for what was to have been a happy occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux and Mrs. Leora Ashton of Orem and Mrs. Florence Kite of Clearfield arrived here on Sat. to visit with the Chester Robinson family and to attend the Davenport funeral. i Mrs. Deanna Orhm of Payson visited here for several days last week with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson and their family. Mr. and Mrs. David Abbott welcomed their first born, a six 'and one half pound girl at the Valley View Medical Center on Sun. The Abbotts had been in Cedar City with Carta's family for a few days prior to the baby's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Henderson of Las Vegas and their three children were here from Fri. to Sun. to visit with the Sam Cutler family. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham traveled to Price on Fri. to visit with their son Leslie and his family. They planned to go on to Salt Lake City for some of Saturday's festivities and a visit with the Clinton Topham family of Taylorsville. Ivan Topham and son Vince ol Washington visited here on Wed. with Ivan's mother, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Talbot and five children of Butte, Montana arrived here on Fri. to visit until Mon. with Neil's people, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot and other ' family members. i By Hilma Lamoreaux Mrs. Alma Stowe and her son Eddie and his family all of Phoenix, Ariz, arrived in Paragonah on July 23 to spend a two weeks vacation at their home here. Alma will visit with her brothers. Bill of Paragonah and Ralph of Cedar City. Young Craig Leigh of Plain City arrived here last week for a visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine J. Jones. Miss Lori Robinson was hospitalized at the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City overnight Thurs. with an appendicitis ap-pendicitis attack. Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson spent Pioneer Day in Cedar City with family members. mem-bers. Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux traveled north on Thurs. to spend the holiday weekend with the Donald Burtons of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bradshaw and two children of Las Vegas arrived here on Fri. to spend the holiday weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thornton. Mrs. Bradshaw is Kristine's sister. Their mother Mrs. Elaine Hillman of Caliente joined them here for Sat. Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Harris and son Kelly of Salt Lake City arrived here on Sun. for an ; overnight visit with Nona's mother, Mrs. Hannah Robinson t and to visit with Normans V mother, Mrs. Hattie Harris of Parowan and his brother Bill and family from Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Manzione and most of their family of Tooele arrived here on Fri. to X spend the weekend with Janine's mother, Mrs. Idella Robinson. ; Mrs. Iras Jones had a host of visitors on Sat. Her son Dale Smith and his family came from Sandy, Ton Jones was here for 4 the weekend from Las Vegas and . Warren and Zelda Smith and ,; David came from Cedar City. Also at the Jones home were I Mrs. Lucille Fish of Toquerville and her son-in-law and daughter J Mr. and Mrs Nay of Brigham r City. ' Mrs. Mary Robinson is vacationing in Brigham City at present with the Keith Peck family who came to Paragonah to get her a week ago. Mrs. Leona Stones spent the weekend in Cedar City with family members. The Misses Lisa and DeAnn f Robinson traveled to Las Vegas on Sat. with their uncle Clair Robinson to visit for a time with the Wayne Rowley and Gene Adams families. Bishop and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham were to Panguitch for Fri. evening and Sat. activities in connection with Pauline's class reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux welcomed most of their family home during the weekend. Bradley has a weeks leave from his service duties at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Mrs. LaRae Mortensen and Christi came from Tooele and Mike and his family came from Lymon, Wyo. |
