An eight pound boy was born to David and Dianna Robinson at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where David is completing officers of-ficers candidate school. The Robinsons and (laughter Danae have been at Fort Sill since the first of Nov. Great Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Karl Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson and great great grandmother Mrs. Alice Robinson were invited to join Dale and family Tues. to celebrate the occasion with ice cream and cake and an evening of visiting. Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux traveled north on Sat. to spend the weekend with the Donald Burton family of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Topham of Washington were in town on Tues. of last week to spend the afternoon with Ivan's mother, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mrs. Eve Lou Lamoreaux was in the Valley View Medical Center from Sun. to Wed. for the surgical removal of a lump. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Robinson and son Brandant of Cedar City visited here on Wred. and again Sat. with Peggy's parents Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux and her brother Brad. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux were to Beaver on Wed. and again on Sal. to see their daughter, Mrs. Gaytha Benson who was hospitalized for surgery. On Sat. they were able to visit with their granddaughter Mrs. Gay Lynn Johnson and son Brady of Clearfield who were in Beaver for the weekend. Mrs. Roene Lund traveled to Cedar City on Sun. to spend a few days with her Lund grandchildren grand-children while Heber and Anna Dee were away. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux traveled to Las Vegas, New on Tues. of last w eek to meet their son Bradley who has two weeks leave from his army duties at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and flew to Las Vegas that day. Clark and Wilma were able to visit w ith his sister Mrs. Winona Shah while they wai ted for Brad's plane. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cutler and three children were to Kanab to spend the weekend with Sam's mother, Mrs. Cortella Cutler. Mr. Bruce Barton came home on Mon. after being hospitalized in Las Vegas following a heart attack. Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Barton arrived home on Wed. after a two week stay in Salt Lake City where Don was hospitalized at LDS Hospital for tests and surgery. Don was released on Tues. but stayed overnight with his sister, Mrs. Rhina Cameron before starting the trip home. Edith visited with Mrs. Cameron during the stay in the City. Mrs. Lola Robb and Miss Shirley Fotheringham were to Beaver on Wed. to visit with their sister, Mrs. Marie White. Mrs. Lillian Rouch who has been making her home here with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Finn, was taken to the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City on Sat. for treatment for ailments incident to age. Mrs. Rouch is 89 years old. Miss Brenda Lowe, who is a student at BYU in Provo was a weekend visitor here with the Joseph E. Barton family. Mrs. Geo Edwards of Cedar City six'nt Thurs. here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson. Mrs. Ivy Skougaard and her family and Miss Denise Matheson of Cedar City were Sat. visitors here with the K. Doyle Robinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Topham of Cedar City were in town on Sun. to visit with Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson and the Kenneth Tophams. |
