Show William Murphj joins U.S.Army Staff Sergeant Larry Cathey, Army Representative in Richfield, Rich-field, announced recently that William Peter Murphy of Cedar City, has joined the Army. Bill was a student at SUSC until he entered active duty. He was active on the SUSC track team. He had formerly served the Army from September 1973 until September 1975 as an administration ad-ministration clerk. Bill enlisted for four years and chose to be trained as a Lance Missile Cadre. He will receive his training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Upon completion of his training Bill chose to be stationed in Europe. Since he had prior service Bill will not have to attend at-tend basic training. Bill is currently employed by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Karris, Hollywood, Florida, and he will enter active duty in Miami, Florida, on Jan. 18. |
