Show Happy Homemaking Hints Janet H. Weaver Everybody would rather have homemade bread but sometimes finding the time to mix and bake is a challenge. This recipe just might be the answer to that problem. Thank you Jan Robinson! !H( MINTTE BREAD 4 cups warm water 3 yeast cakes fi Tb. shortening 3 Tb. shortening 3 Tb. sugar 4 tsp. salt 10 cups flour Mix water, yeast, shortening, sugar and salt together. Let stand 15 minutes. Then mix in flour and let stand 15 minutes more. Knead dough. Let stand for 15 minutes. Put in loaf pans and let rise for 15 minutes. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 4 loaves. |
