Show OES honors Goodings at Party Thursday evening, Sept. 8, Cedar Chapter No. 20, hosted an open house reception for Gustin O. and Geraldine T. Gooding who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary An-niversary on that date. The reception took place in the Temple dining room which was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements. Refreshment tablers were covered with lace trimmed white linen cloths, centered with Talisman rosebuds and yellow and pink candles in golden brown holders. Refreshments were served with Ruth Gardner at the punch bowl and Edith Kirtley at the coffee urn. Miss Roberta Peters presided over the guest book. Eighty-five guests called during the evening to extend congratulations to the honored couple. Out of town guests were: The Gooding's son, Robert, of Chappaqua, New York; Gerry's two sisters: Mrs. Gladys Weston, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Pearl Weston of Chatham, New Jersey and a nephew and family; Dr. and Mrs. James Weston, and daughter Debbie, of Albuqurque, New Mexico. Hostesses for the affair were Associate Matron Jennie Peters, Lelah Wilson, Marie Endsley, Ethel Smith, Velma Lundgren and Lucille Bunn. By Lelah Wilson |
