Show Marilyn IV3 orris, Joe Roundy united in St. George Temple Ceremony Attending the bride were Miss Karen Morris as maid of honor with Barbara Marchant, Cheryl and Pattie Roundy, Deanna Stevens, Marilyn Stucki and Kristine Hyatt as bridesmaids. Flower girls were petite Tiffany Ann and Nicalyn Morris. The attendants wore floral printed organza sheer gowns of soft pinks, lavenders and blues. They carried nosegays of roses, mums and daisies in colors to match their dresses. Attending the groom as best man was his brother Scott. Ushers were Joey Marchant and Arnold Lemmon. Both mothers wore full length gowns of pale pink polyester knit, with soft pink Glamelia corsages. Music for the evening was furnished by Mrs. Irene Hyatt at the organ. Vocal numbers were rendered by Miss Melody Mendenhall. Miss Karen Bradshaw played two numbers on her flute. Brother and sister-in-law of the bride, David and Lesley Anne Morris, acted as host and hostesses. Miss Marilyn Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haymer D. Morris became the bride of Joe H. Roundy on July 22, 1977. The ceremony was performed in the St. George LDS Temple with president Elihu A. Whatcott officiating. Following the ceremony a luncheon was given for the couple by the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Roundy at the Roccoco Restaurant in St. George. The newlyweds were honored at a reception Friday July 29 given by the bride's parents, at the Enchanted Garden in Cedar City, and an Open House Saturday July 30 at the Oasis Ward Cultural Hall Oasis, Utah given by the parents of the groom. The bride wore an elegant wedding dress fashioned of organza and Venice lace. Her full length veil was held by a headpiece of Venise lace and pearls. She carried a Traditional Mode bouquet of white roses, purple leaves and baby breath, centered with a purple orchid corsage which she wore on her going away outfit . It was a white linen suit, with a black and white striped blouse. i : MR. AND MRS. JOE ROUNDY Serving were Gene Jensen, Jen-sen, Clair Cooley and Oscar Hulet. Taking care of the gift table were Cheryl Roundy, Pat Sevy and Debra Robinson. RoAnn M. Lemmon and Jenny Manzione sat at the book. Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at various showers gfiven by Mrs. Gwen Stucki, Marilyn Stucki, Gay Piatt, Jenny Manzione, Deanna Stevens, and Lesley Anne Morris. |
