Show Blood drive slated Tuesday 1. AGE. Any individual between the ages of 18 and 66 years (17 with parents written permission). 2. FOOD : No change in daily eating habits necessary. Eat regular meals at regular times. 3. WEIGHT: Minimum weight requirement is 110 pounds. 4. FREQUENCY: The interval between blood donations must be eight weeks. A maximum of five donations may be made in a year. 5. ALLERGIES AND IMMUIZATION: Let the physician or nurse in charge consult the donor and make a decision. 6. MALARIA: If you have had malaria, you may donate, after three years free from anv attack. 7. JAUNDICE: If you have had yellow jaundice (Hepatitis) you may not donate. 8. Red Cross draws blood under the license of the National Institutes of Health. The welfare of each donor is the personal interest in-terest of physician or supervising nurse at the drawing. r BLOOD DRIVE There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1977 between the hours of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the basement of the Elks Lodge. This will be a one day drive for the citizens of Iron County to help supply the blood used in this county and others throughout the state of Utah. We invite all prospective donors to come to the Elks Lodge (next to the City Park) and donate. We also remind those who were given blood at the Valley View Medical Center during the last year to arrange to have the blood used replaced by donors. The following instructions are for prospective donors. |
