Show Utah Highway Patrol announces details on recruitment program complaints. Added duties include in-clude weighing commercial vehicles, ve-hicles, inspecting vehicle permits per-mits and registrations, and preparing reports from data collected. Trooper personnel are also assigned to transmit and receive messages on High, way Patrol communications equipment. Each applicant must be in good physical condition and must pass qualifying medical examination prior to appointment. The Utah Highway Patrol is now recruiting young men, age 23 through 35. Applicants must be at least 5' 10" in in height, and have attained the minimum age on or before be-fore the closing date for receipt re-ceipt of applications, which is March 15. Applicants who have exceeded the maximum age on the closing date will not be considered. Entrance salary is $G18.00 per month, with an additional $25.00 per month uniform allowance. al-lowance. Applications must bP on the prescribed application blank, available by mail, or personal person-al request at the State Personnel Person-nel Office, 130 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114. Persons outside of Salt Lake City may call in person at Highway Patrol District Offices, Of-fices, or local Utah Employment Employ-ment Security Offices for announcements an-nouncements and application blanks. Applicants must be High School graduates or equivalent and be domiciled in the State of Utah. They must also be citizens of.the United States and have a Utah Driver's license. lic-ense.
