CALVIN RAMPTON BPW Club to host Utah's First Lady at meeting Wednesday, March 8 Is an important date for the Cedar City Business and Professional Profession-al Women's Club. Mrs. Calvin Rampton, Utah's First Lady will be the featured speaker at a dinner meeting to be held in the small ballroom of the Southern Utah State College at 7 pjn. Mrs. Rampton was born in Washington, D. C a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. P. V. Cardon, while he was employed by the Department of Agriculture. She, her sister and brother, traveled with their parents over the years as his work took them to many places In the West Including Cedar City, and finally back to Washington, D. C There she met and married Calvin Rampton. They returned to Utah to live.' They are the par-1 ents of two daughters and two sons. Mrs. Rampton Is a graduate of U.S.U. when it was still U.S.A.C. and she has a Master's Mast-er's degree in anthropology from the University of Utah. Her topic will be "You and four Community". Any ladies of the community, who are not members of the Business & Professional Women's Club, are welcome to attend but they must make their own r-.-rvation for the meal with Mrs. Bunnell at , 586-8696 or after 5 p.m.. call Mrs. Wm.
