The , Whickers visited in Oak City Saturday evening with Mr. . . and Mrs. Scott Sheriff and ,J- ' family and returned home Sunday. ,1 Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Walker . of La Habra, Calif, visited t here Saturday and Sunday , with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond ,, Farrow and family. i . r Mrs. Donna Davenport All of the young people in the Ward MIA participated in the Speech Festival held Tuesday evening of last week with outstanding talks given by all. Many of the students from here traveled to St. George last week to attend the Region Eight Basketball Tournament Mark Dalley and Danny Hulet are members of the Parowan High School team. Diane Hulet Hu-let is a member of the marching march-ing group and Sherilyn White and Marlene Dalton play with the Parowan High Band and they all participated at the tournament. Mrs. Emma Fife was called to Pleasant Grove Sunday of last week to be with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Vern Gillman, who was ill. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley were their daughters and family fam-ily members, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Munson and son of St. George and Kathleen Dalley of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and family enjoyed a visit Monday of last week from friends, Mr. and Mrs. Barney Cooley and four children of Overton, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and four sons traveled to Fillmore Fill-more last Thursday to visit |
