Show Iron County native succumbs Services here Tues. Hamilton Fort native, Rex Holland Micklli'ton, 53, died Thursday, Fob. 21, in San Francisco, Calif, of a heart attack. at-tack. Services were conducted at the Spilsbury and draff Mortuary Chapel in Cedar City Tuesday, under the direction di-rection of Bishop Boyd Bladen. Blad-en. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Charles R. Hunter with remarks by Bishop Bladen. Family prayer was offered by Bishop Bladen. Invocation was by Roe Palmer, benediction benedic-tion by Ciordon Williams and the dedication of the grave at the Cedar City Cemetery was by dayle Winterrose. Musical selections included a vvval Rfiln "Hnw Hreat Thou Art," by Christine Winterrose Win-terrose accompanied by Janet Jan-et Knell and a vocal solo, "Hold Thou My Hand," by Howard Wood with Mrs. Knell as accompanist. Middleton was born at Hamilton Fort May 10, 1916, a son of Francis W. and Sarah Sar-ah Holland Middleton. He never married. He was a member of the LDS Church. He served in the Armed Forces of the United States during World War II and was a taxi driver in the San Francisco area. Survivors include two brothers bro-thers and four sisters: John H., Mrs, R. E. (Jennie) Winterrose, Win-terrose, both of Cedar City; Max, Cherry Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Frank (Melba) Wagner, Modesto, Calif.; Mrs. Afton (Emma) Bohn, Salt Lake City and Mrs. R. J. (Ruth) Shay, Albuquerque, N. M. |
