Show Parowan High AGS making Girls Day plans The Associated Girl Students Stud-ents at Parowan High School, are making plans for their annual Girls' Day activities, according to Carolyn Watson AGS president. But instead of a one-day affair it is to be spread over four weeks with the opening event set for this Friday, Mar. 3. The second part is on Friday, March 17; the third event is set for Mar. 28, with teh time of the fourth or final part, to be announced. This Friday the preference Ball will be held in the PHS gym with a combo, dubbed "Unity of Men," from Cedar, furnishing the music. On this night the preferred man at the school will be chosen by the girl students, from the following group: Friday, March 17, Miss Claudia Mortensen, a one time Parowan resident and a graduate grad-uate of the school, will be here to lecture to the girls. Her lecture will be on being attractive, with good personality personal-ity and charm. March 28 the annual Girl's Tea will be held in the gym, at which the girls and their mothers will gather to see a display of work the girls have completed during the year. Later, the spring f ashion show will bo held at which time the AGS and the Home Ec girls will join in modeling the clothing they have made during the year. This will be held in the evening and the date for it will be announced. |
