Show Travel Council plan first annual conference, banquet Darryl Schramm, Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Executive Execu-tive and Travel Utah Director, announced today that the First Annual Conference anc1 Banquet on Tourism and the Annual Meeting of Travel Utah, Inc., will be held Friday, Fri-day, -March 24, in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. The event is sponsored by Travel Utah, Inc., in cooperation coopera-tion with the Utah Travel Council. Travel executives from all arts of the state will meet to discuss Utah's growing tourist and recreation, industry.': indust-ry.': - - " A host of outstanding speakers speak-ers from throughout the West will appear at the conference, in addition a number of group table -discussions will be moderated mod-erated by prominent travel leaders and will discuss a variety of activities and event? geared to tourist promotion in the state. Travel Utah goals and the new officers for the 1972-73 year will be introduced at the banquet and a number of Travel Utah "businessmen's awards will be presented by Governor Calvin Rampton. Members from throughout the state are urged to attend. Conference meetings and the banquet are also open to the public, Schramm emphasized. |
