Show Gun and Rod rabbit hunt attracts record numbers ' The Washington's birthday rabbit hunt, held on Saturday Satur-day of last week, turned into an area affair, and 29 men took part, killing 470 of the long eared animals. Men came from surrounding towns and some from far away to partici- pate in the activity, and the resultant kill should be of great benefit to the farmers In the pump well district. According to Dewey Top-ham, Top-ham, club secretary, the following fol-lowing hunters took part and came up with the following tallies: Richard Day 8, Elwln Rowley Row-ley 15, Judd Hendrickson 16, Vern Mortensen 12, Gerald Davenport 20, Rick Bonzo 15. Morris Rasmussen 16. Ted Burton, 20, Clair Halterman 9, Jack Dillon 16, Bob Cart wright 22, Vern Holyoak 8 Sherwin Benson 15, Eugene Robb 19, Ed Nelson 20. Ned Day, 15, Don Burton 24. Kevin Truman 9, Gary Day 30, El Roy Eryant 22, Norman Day 9, Rodney Adams 25, Phil Pronk, 15, Wells Orton 10, Dewey Tcpham 10, Norman Rowley 20, Bruce Topham 9, and Allan Stones 22. The hunt began at the bottom of the Gurr lane, went north to Ultle Salt Lake and then swung along the south shore. As is usual, following the shoot the participants gathered at the club house for refreshments. |
