Local man aids in guard pilot rescue SP5 Val Dean Williams, a former resident of Enoch, aided aid-ed in the rescue of an Air Guard pilot, whose aircraft caught on fire during a training train-ing flight near San Antonio, i Texas, on August 18. He and three other men were on an instrument instru-ment check flight when an emergency call came over the helicopter radio, telling of the burning Air Guard jet fighter.
