Show Stan Hammonds travel to eastern states, visit battleship on which he served Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hammond Ham-mond returned recently from a iour-month visit to the East Coast. Accompanying them on the trip was their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Linda Holcom of Auburn, Calif. They visited relatives in North Carolina, Virginia, Con-tecticut, Con-tecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, where they visited Mr. Hahmond's 93-year-old mother. So you see they almost did the entire Atlantic At-lantic seaboard. During his visits, Mr. Hammond's Ham-mond's ability with hammer and saw was fully utilized on the building projects of his children. However, they managed man-aged to show their grandfather grandfath-er many points of interest, including in-cluding those pertaining to the family history. One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the USS Massachusetts in Fall River, Mass. Mr. Hammond turned out to be quite a celebrity, having an article about his visit written up in the local newspaper. The Hammonds had a memorable mem-orable trip, but are glad to be back homo in peaceful Parowan. Par-owan.
