Show Keith L. Maxwell is distinguished graduate of class Private Keith L. Maxwell, son of Mrs. Mildred O. Maxwell, Max-well, Route 1, Cedar City, is a distinguished graduate of his Quartermaster Heavy Equipment Repair Class here at the U. S. Army Odnance Center in Aberreen Proving Grounds, Md. Private Maxwell was selectee! se-lectee! as the distinguished graduate on the basis of his ( academic average. A gradua- , ation ceremonies on August 1, he was presented with a Distinguished Graduate di- ' ploma and the Commandant's Award an engraved plaque. The thirteen-week course qualified Private Maxwell to maintain quartermaster special spec-ial purpose equipment and vehicles. He made operational operation-al tests on the equipment and vehicles to determine their condition and efficiency of op-eration. op-eration. He diagnosed maintenance main-tenance requirements, made necessary adjustments and repairs, re-pairs, and determined parts need for repair. Equipment and vehicles were also clean-' ed, adjusted, tightened, lubri-1 cated and repaired using electrical, mechanist, pipe fitter, fit-ter, and welding tools. Private Maxwell was graduated grad-uated from Cedar City High School in 1965 and attended College of Southern Utah. He entered the service January Janu-ary 17, 19G9. |
