Show Iron County Fair schedule completed The schedule for the coming com-ing Iron County Fair is very nearly complete, board members mem-bers have announced. Briefly, it will be as follows: Friday. August 29: Miss Iron County Pageant 8 p. m., Cedar City High Auditorium. Aud-itorium. Saturday, Aug. 30: Exhibit halls open Paro-wan Paro-wan Elementary School Building; Build-ing; Amateur Rodeo and Race Meet at Parowan Track and Arena. Gate time 2 p. m. Special Spe-cial Futurity Race to be run during the afternoon as a feature of the day. Modern ance at Parowan High School. Sunday, Aug. 31: Exhibits open 3 to 7:30 p. m.; Variety Concert Free to the public at Parowan High School Auditorium, 8 p. m. Monday. Sept. 1: Labor Day Parade Theme "From Wasteland to Wonderland," Wonder-land," 10 a. m.; Carnival open all day on grounds between school buildings. Horse Shoe Pitching contest 11 a. m., City Park; Exhibit halls open to public until 5 p. m. Amateur Rodeo and Race Meet at City Track. Pony Express Ex-press Race for $1000 purse at 1 p. m.; Other racing and rodeo ro-deo program follows, featuring featur-ing the Maturity Race for an $800 purse. Puulic dance in the eventing. The events have been arranged ar-ranged with the Fair theme of "A Family A-Fair" in mind. Every member of the family will find entertainment to his liking during the three days duration of this traditional event. I |
