For her going away costume the bride chose a bright green crepe dress with lace around the neck and bottom of the long sleeves. She wore white shoes with it. The newlyweds spent three days honeymooning in Grand Canyon and Page, Arizona. Following the wedding a luncheon was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lamoreaux. It was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carson Sprague. The bride will graduate from Cedar High School this month. She is president of the Riding Club and active in the German Club. The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School and attended SUSC. He is a member mem-ber of the National Guard, having finished basic and advanced ad-vanced training. He is employed em-ployed by Perry Mill and Cabinet. Pre-nuptial courtesies include in-clude a kitchen shower given by Mrs. J. Chad Riddle, a personal per-sonal shower given by Mrs. Jack Stevens and wives of the First Ward Bishopric, and a bridal shower given by Mrs. Tom Winder. Wedding rites solemnized in the St. George Temple on April Ap-ril 18 united Katina Rae Es-plin Es-plin and Bradford Perry Riddle Rid-dle in marriage. President Rudger Atkin officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William S. Esplin, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. Rixey S. Riddle of Las Vegas and Mrs. R. Carson Sprague, 311 S. 450 W. The bride wore a long white gown of bridal satin covered with daisy lace. It featured long sleeves and a high neckline. neck-line. Her veil of white daisy lace was attached to a pearl crown. A detachable train of white bridal satin was also part of the costume which was made by the bride and her mother. Attending the bride as matron ma-tron of honor was Mrs. J. Chad (Loraine) Riddle. Bridesmaids were Misses Sandra Esplin, Sue Oldroyd, Trisha Murie, Bonnie Brock-meier, Brock-meier, Bonnie Romberger, and Renee Prince. Flower girls were petite Misses Julie Kaye and Robyn Lynn Esplin and Peggy Sue Riddle. All of the attendants were alternately dressed in pink and yellow floor length dresses dres-ses with short sleeves. Those in pink had a yellow rose, and those in yellow had a pink rose. The flower girls carried baskets of daisies and roses. Best man was J. Chad Riddle, Rid-dle, and the ushers were Dean Lamoreaux, Johnny Burrows, and Roger Esplin. The mothers of the bride and bridegroom wore pink with corsages of white rosebuds, rose-buds, a white orchid, and pink leaves. Mrs. James (Nancy) Riddle presided at the guest book. Misses Ruth Humphery, Patsy Webster, and Melanie Batt helped in the kitchen while Misses Carol and Linda Thor-ley, Thor-ley, and Vickie Riddle served the refreshments. Taking care of the gifts were Miss Arleen Perry, Mrs. Jay Perry, Mrs. H. G. Burrows, Mrs. Bert Barnhurst, and Mrs. |
