Show Sherwin Taylor rolls near perfect score Sherwin Taylor was "pretty elated" last night as he bowled bowl-ed a 288 game (12 pins short of perfect) for the Western Bearing team In the Merchants Merch-ants League. "He didn't have much to say, but he sure was happy," smiled Clint Hanson, secretary secre-tary for the League. Taylor bowled the hlghost sanctioned game ever recorder record-er at the Silver Spur Lanes, and for his efforts will be awarded $50 from the Lander City Bowling Association next Tuesday. He'll also receive a Century Patch from the American Am-erican Bowling Congress for last average bowling 100 pins over his average, av-erage, which until last night was 165. The league bowling season ends in three weeks, and Taylor Tay-lor is In line to receive the highest award from the Lander Lan-der Association for his near-perfect near-perfect game..
