Show MIDVALLEY NEWS ENOCH AND Mrs. Veda Matheson Some of the young people who have lived with families in this area have gone home for a visit. Violet Orgili has made her home with her aunt, Mrs. Delia Garfield and is visiting vis-iting with her parents in Salt Lake City. Allen Egbert, who lived here with the Ivor Jones's is also in Salt Lake with his family. Sally Sherratt went to Arizona to live with her parents, the Orion, Sher-ratt's Sher-ratt's after staying with her grandparents to finish high school. One of our families has moved away. Mrs. Jean Brewer Brew-er and her children Tommy, Billy, and David have gone to New Mexico to make their home. Jean and daughter, Brenda, have moved to Provo to make their home with her sister Martha and go to school there. Jean and her children have lived here while she attended at-tended SUSC, from which she graduated during recent commencement com-mencement programs. A wedding reception was held on Saturday foh Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wilcken. Those who came from out of town to attend at-tend the wedding in St-George St-George and the reception here included, Mrs. Ardell Peterson, mother of the bride, from New York; Mrs. Emory Wilcox and daughter Eloise of Clearfield; Also Dean, Hal and Melvin Wilcox, their wives and families; fam-ilies; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Adams, Ad-ams, Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Winberg, and Louise Wilcken. Sunday afternoon, Bishop and Mrs. Dee Wilcken and family went to Logan where Bishop Wilcken will attend school for the week. Mrs. Ardell Ar-dell Peterson went as far as Salt Lake with them, then flew to her home in New York state. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Christiansen Christ-iansen and their family left Friday to go to South Dakota to visit with Marge's family. They are expected to return this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Mae Mathews and family were here for a few days- The Mathews are former residents of Midvalley. Mr. and Mrs. George Bat-traw Bat-traw visited over Friday night with the Elton Richardson family. They came to take Eleanor, Vanna, and Mary Rchardson to Arizona for their vacation. Keith Grimshaw has returned re-turned from Vietnam after spending one and a half years there. He is at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw after completing his tour of duty with the U. S. Army. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Garfield and children have returned to this area to make their home after spending the past few years in Las Vegas where Bud has taught school. He will teach in the Cedar Jr. High this next year. |
