Show Ivy Ward home, tells of niece's school activities Miss Ivy Ward returned home the first of the week ai'ter spending the winter In Salt Lake City with her brother bro-ther Kent Ward, and family, and In Lafayette, Calif, with her brother-in-law and sister the Floyd Whickers. Before she came homo she was able to attend tho graduation of her niece, Miss Lanna Ward. Miss Ward, daughter of the Kent Wards, and four-year seminary graduate,, was a member of the graduating class of Brighton, High School. She was also the recipient of a scholarship to Wber State College in Ogden. She was a member of the National Honor Society, of the Seminary Bowl Team which took first place in its division. She was head drill mistress of the school pep club; Spanish club, FIIA secretary, a capella choir and madrigal choir, also the youth symphonic choir which sang with Utah Symphony Sym-phony Orchestra, She took part in her stake presentation, and was active in church musical mu-sical events. |
