Show ment is being taught to all the grades with the exception of seniors, who have already had the New Testament class. They are studying Church History. Next year the Program Pro-gram will go into full swing with grades nine through 12 studying LDS Church History. I It is felt that with this new ! prelum teachers will be ai)ie to teach mere interesting lt.s. sons, with hett.-r materials, and more effectiveness. Donald Heap joins leashing staff at South Seminary A new face has been added to the teaching staff at the Cedar South LDS Seminary. Donald Heap, a Hatch, Utah native will bo teaching New Testament and Church History to Cedar High School Seminary Semin-ary students. Ero. Heap, a teaching veteran vet-eran of six years is a graduate of Panguitch High School. He majored in History and Psychology Psy-chology at SUSC, and has recently re-cently finished work on a Master's Degree in Community Communi-ty Education at Brigham Young University in Provo. He and his wife Deanna are the parents of four children, ages six years through four months. The LDS Seminary program has been strikingly changed for this and the coming school years. Instead of four different differ-ent courses being taught over the four grade levels involved in the program, one course will be taught to all grade levels. This year New Testa- . I |
