Show Sixteen to vie for Miss Iron County crown Friday evening music. Her sports interests include in-clude horseback riding. She plans to attend Southern Utah State College where she will major in art. Cindy Wiebe is also a graduate grad-uate of Cedar High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wiebe of Cedar City. She will perform a mono-act mono-act from the popular novel "Gone With The Wind." She sews and swims and is interested inter-ested in a career in acting and possibly as a drama instructor. instruct-or. Anne Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kent E. Myers of Cedar City Is a graduate of Cedar High School and is a junior at Southern Utah State College. Her interests are writ ing and sewing and her ambition am-bition is to become a lawyer. For her talent number sh wil present a vocal solo. Carla Prows, is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thad Prows of Payson. She gradu ated from Cedar High Schoo' and is a student at Southern Utah State College. Sh0 will present a piano solo for her talent number. She is interested interest-ed in th0 guitar, singing, sewing sew-ing and swimming. She hopes to be a dental assistant and receptionist. B.'s Big Boy. The final six candidates, of sixteen vieing foT the coveted title of Miss Iron County, are presented this week just one day prior to the Annual Miss Iron County Pageant. The pageant, at which a queen and two attendants will be selected to reign over the Iron County Fair and throughout through-out the coming year, will be staged at the Cedar High School auditorium beginning at 8 p.m. and is sponsored by the Cedar City Jaycees with Robert Houston as chairman. Master of ceremonies for the event will be David Lee and special entertainment will be provided by Ken Talbot, Kathy Jones, and by the Cedar High School Stage Band, under the direction of Darrell Matthews. For the past two weeks five of the contestants have been introduced. This week we in-! troduce the final six candi-1 dates for the Miss Iron County title. They are: Jackie Jones, 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Jones of Parowan. She is a senior this year at Parowan High School and she will present pre-sent a piano solo entitled, "Wedding-Day at Troldhaug-en." Troldhaug-en." The young lady is Inter- j ested in horseback riding and : swimming and hopes to fur ther her education to become en executive secretary. Jan Benson, a graduate of Parowan High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benson, Jr. of Parowan. For her talent selection she will present a modern jazz dance. Dancing and sewing are her favorite hobbies and her sports interests center around swimming swim-ming and horseback riding. Carol Ann Berry Ls the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Berry of Cedar City.
