Show cees who' bowled over Jones Motor for a convincing 14 to 0 shutout victory to establish the Jaycees as one of the top teams in the league this year. Mike Hair and Kevin Averett shared mound duties and were very impressive in the victory. Jaycees picked up a total of nine runs in the second Inning In-ning to put the game out of reach early in the contest. Jones Motor had runners nearly near-ly every inning but could not get them across. Lions, Jaycees open Little League season with wins Lions Club of the Cedar National Na-tional Little League baseball walked off with the opening victory Monday evening as action ac-tion for the 1969 season got underway. Lions eame up with a slim 3-2 win over Arctic Circle Monday evening to start off the season. E. !. Corry was the winning pitcher for Lions and Fred Wright suffered the loss.
