Show is $50 and the nonresident open op-en bull elk permit is $75. Legal Le-gal tender, money order or certified check in the correct amount must accompany all applications. If applications exceed the number of elk permits available, avail-able, a drawing will be held August 14. The unsuccessful applicant may still be issued the nonresident deer license if he so specifies in his letter of application. Unused money will be returned, to the applicant. appli-cant. Open bull permits are good on 16 elk areas. Season dates are October 7-15 except on two units opening late in September. The nonresident deer license allows the taking of one deer. The 1972 Utah general deer season is open October 21-31. Application for a nonresident nonresi-dent open area bull elk permit per-mit may be made in person or by mail to the main office of the Utah Division of Wildlife Wild-life Resources, 1596 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. The number from a 1972 nonresident Utah deer license or application for such license must accompany the application for a nonresident elk permit.
