Show Lions Club plans for park work and birthday calendars The members of the Parowan Paro-wan Lions Club at their regular reg-ular luncheon meeting held Thursday night, discussed two projects which are a part of their coming activities, according accord-ing to Roger Allen, president. First, they are planning to push work on the barbecue pit the club has started on the ground lying south of the club lawn, south of the swimming swim-ming pool. Some materials are now on the ground, and additional ad-ditional plans call for a shelter shel-ter structure over the area, Allan states that plans for the improvement are now being be-ing prepared by John Rowley, architect, of Cedar City. As soon as they are ready it is planned to start actual construction. con-struction. The second project being given some thought at the present time is the annual drive for the birthday calendar. calen-dar.
