Show Final rites held for Leah Jean Boardman July 27 By Hilma Lamoreaux Funeral services (or Mrs. Leah Jean Boardman were held Thursday, July 27, in the Paragonah Ward Chapel under un-der the direction of Milton Poulson of the bishopric. Family prayer was by James L. Robinson. Prelude and post-lude post-lude music was played toy Mrs. Melva Barton and William Willi-am S. Boardman offered the invocation. The choir sang 'Wot Now, But in the Coming Years" directed by D. Amasa Stones. A life history of the deceas- ed was given by Mrs. Mary Abbott and Bishop Myron Abbott Ab-bott was the speaker. Special musical numbers included a vocal duet "Whispering Hope," by Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Fretwell and a saxaphone solo "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose," by Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson. Mrs. Mclva Barton was accompanist for the choir and other musical selections. I Following closing remarks by Poulson, the choir sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" and Kenneth Topham pronounced the benediction. The dedicatory dedica-tory prayer was by Aquita J. Robinson. All of Mrs. Boardman's brothers bro-thers and sisters were here for the funeral with members of their families. Other relatives present included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Adair of Moab; Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Roundy from Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Boardman, Delta; Mr. and' Mrs. Laurence Fret-well, Fret-well, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fretwell, Mrs. Ina Middleton, Mrs. Zona Cor-ry Cor-ry and daughter, all of Cedar City; the Charles Boardman family, Summit; Mrs. Marilyn Bradshaw and daughters, Cindy and Mrs. Carla Evans, Beaver; and Mr. and Mrs. Barlow Cahoon of Deseret. nnnflfttf |
