Show PARAGONAH Mrs. Hllma Lamorecrux c Mr. and Mrs. John V. Benson of Salt Lake City and Simon Benson Ben-son of Provo were among the relatives present at the Burt wed-ding wed-ding reception Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barton 1 were happy to have most of their family together for the Thanks-giving Thanks-giving holiday and the visitors all remained here for the James C. Burts reception Saturday. Mrs. Larue Mitchell and two sons and -Mrs. Rose Ann Mlckel-son Mlckel-son and small son were here from Weed Heights, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Orton and their three children came from Granger. Gran-ger. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dell and four of thel family came from Tooele. The holiday dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Joyce Barton In Pa rowan and the Bill Barton family of Paragonah join-ed join-ed them. Thirty-five family members were together for the occasion. Mrs. Sarah Stones and daughter daugh-ter Helen, Mrs. Lila Stones and her three children traveled to Salt Lake City to spend the Thanksgiving week end with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lowe. Walter Talbot traveled to Kays-ville Kays-ville to spend the holiday with his son Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Abbott and family were here from Murray over the week end visiting with Tom's mother, Mrs. Myrtle Abbott Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rasmussen and family of Paro-wan Paro-wan and the Myron Abbott family fam-ily Joined the 4-:roup for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving at the Abbott home. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson Ander-son and son Lamarr traveled to Kanab Wednesday to visit with the Jimmy Anderson family. In addition to sharring Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing dinner with the family there the men traveled to Gien Canyon and Lake Powell for a fishing trln Mrs. Dorotha Barton and three sons were here from Ordcrville to spend the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. John C. Barton. Dorotha and Kyle returned home Thursday Thurs-day but Craig and Dee Lynn remained re-mained here with their grandparents grand-parents until Sunday. Mrs. Bertrude Barton and son March of Cedar City joined the Joseph E. Barton family and Roy McBride for Thanksgiving at the Barton home. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Cox of Las Vegas were in town Thursday of last week. They spent the day visiting with various relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lamoreaux and small daughter of Parowan Joined the Clark Lamoreaux and Boyd Robinson families for holiday holi-day dinner at the Lamoreaux home. Mrs. Lula Bastian had the majority ma-jority of her family with her for last weeks holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Mortensen, son Cliff and daughters Marie and Linda and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dalton and children came from Parowan. Mr. and Ivira. Alan Stuuus iiu oHI daughters came from Cedar City and the Jack Daltons joined the group. Mrs. June Walleck and Mrs. Waldo Yardley of Beaver were re-cent re-cent visitors to Paragonah where they spent some time with Mrs. Lula Bastian and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. David Dalton and sons Dick and Tony visited with friends in Blyth, California from Friday to Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Lund and children of Cedar City spent Thanksgiving day here with Heb-er's Heb-er's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Wil-son Lund. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Maxwell and children of Murray also visited vis-ited at the Lund home Thursday. Mrs. Vera Gibson and daughter daugh-ter Kathy were here from Cedar Cly to spend the week end at the Wilson Lund home. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Maxwell and daughter Patsy also of Cedar Ced-ar City visited at the Lund home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot were happy to have members of their family with them for the holiday. Jim and his wife and little boy arrived here Wednesday Wednes-day and Bob and his family came Thursday. They all remained remain-ed in Paragonah until Sunday before returning to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Chester Robinson departed depart-ed for his trip to Illinois Nov. 23rd. He was accompanied as far ! Provo by his mother, Mrs. Alice Robinson who visited with the Elmo C. Robinsons until Thursday and by Miss Connie LcVeque who was visiting with her cousins In Provo. Miss Leque and Miss Mary Ann Bingham came to Paragonah Paragon-ah Wednesday to be with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards. Miss Bingham returned re-turned to Provo Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb had family members for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Dalton and family camp from Cedar City and ' the Hud Ortons were here from Parowan. I Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sweet ol jSalt Lake Cily were over-night guests at the Kenneth Topham I I home Wednesday of last week I on their way to Kanab for the I holiday. Lee Arlen Topham ac- companled them here from the rlty to visit with his parents until un-til Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux traveled to Layton Wednesday to j visit until Sunday with the Don- aid Burtons. The Clyde Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux family joined them there for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Topham and Mrs. Eliza Norton had a number of visitors during the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hastings and son Clark came from Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Bish Parker and daughter Patty were here from Flagstaff, Arizona; Ari-zona; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Norton from Marysvale, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stolk and family from Ely, Nevada and the Arlen Davlses from Cedar City and the Gale Stolk family from Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robin-sc.ii Robin-sc.ii had their entire family with the:n Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson and small daughter came from Murray. The Victor Matheson, Bert Walker, Dave Skougaard and Kay kod-inson kod-inson families were all here from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham Top-ham enjoyed having nearly all of of their posterity with them for Thanksgiving last week. The Harold Bradshaw family came from Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jones from Provo, the Rodney Jones family from Parowan and the other members of the Blaine Jones family joined them. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham had a number 'of relatives for last weeks holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Humbert Rosenberg and family came from Cedar City, Mn. Carol Farnsworth and children c a rri from Parowan and the local family fam-ily members present included the Douglas Davenport family, Will Robb, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport, Mrs. Emma Topham and the Kay Lamoreaux family. Sam Lister was home from Pr-vo Pr-vo to spend the holiday with hu neonle. Mr. and Mrs. Frank List er. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson entertained the male population of their family for Thanksgiving dinner. Clinton Robinson and son Gerald of Richfield Joined them as did Hugh Robinson and sons Mitchell and Randy of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Bauer and little daughter also of Cedar City Joined them later in the day. Mr. and Mrs. James Taylor en-Joyed en-Joyed having friends with them for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kleweno of Las Vegras arrived here on Thursday to visit until Monday. Eugene Boardman arrived home from Provo to spend Thanksgiving with his folks the Bill Boardmans. Friday Eugene and Curt Board-man, Board-man, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boardman, their mother, Mrs. Ruth Boardman and Mrs. Leah Jean Boardman, all traveled to Montpelier, Idaho to attend the wedding of Laurence Fretwell. Mr. and Mrs. Justin L. Rider of Los Angeles were here from Monday to Wednesday of last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Protheros. Mr. and Mrs. Onrsd dark and their children of Cedar City were holiday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Protheros enjoyed having family members with them for the holiday. Mrs. Eliza Bonzo, Mr. and Mrs. David Bonzo and family and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bonzo and child ren were all here from Cedar City. Barton Brothers Joined the . group. . The D. Amasa Stones home J was the scene of a family gath- . ering on Thursday of last week , and the group enjoyed a good , time together. Mr. and Mrs. Car- lyle Mitchell and family, Miss Carla Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. ( Mario Stones and family, Mr. ( and Mrs. Bud Green and child- , ren all came from Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Stones and ! little boys came from Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Martell East-on East-on joined the group from Beaver. Warren Smith and Tom Jones left for Salt Lake City Wednesday Wednes-day of last week to spend Thanksgiving with their uncle Orin Bell of Bountiful and his family and to see their mother Mrs. Iras Jones who Is still convalescing con-valescing in the LDS Hospital. Mrs. Marlon Englestead and her daughter Mrs. Gwen Jones spent some time In Pangultch last week on account of the death of Mrs. Englesteads brother, broth-er, Ernest D. Livens, who passed away Tuesday. Funeral services were held on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Englestead of Henderson Hend-erson visited here at the Jones home while they were In Utah I for the funeral services. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Englestead of Ephriam were over night guests at the Jones home on Friday. Fri-day. Miss Gladys Edwards returned home Monday after a week in Cedar City with her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Claude Dix. Miss Sandra Rae Robinson arrived ar-rived home from Salt Lake City Wednesday to spend the holi-d' holi-d' with her mother, Mrs. Mary Rooinson. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Top-1 ham had all of their immediate family with them Thursday for a i c o m b I n e d Thanksgiving and Birthday celebration for Mr. Top- j ham who was 72 on Wednesday. The Fred Topham family came! from Parowan, the Waldo Top-1 ham, McLean Simpkins and Ly-' man Dodge families all camel from Cedar City. The Kenneth Tophams joined the group and a Jolly time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson i had a number of their family I with them for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Harris and sons! Mrs. Leta Ev- j ans and sons Kim and Tom and the latters wife, also the Ronald Mortensens and Mrs. Hattie Harris Har-ris came from Parowan. The Joe Benson family came from Beaver. These were Joined by the Joe Lamoreaux family here. Mr. and Mrs. Robin Lamoreaux of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux and son Adam of Cedar City Joined the group later. Mrs. Benson and daughter Kate were over night visitors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot arrived home Sunday from their trip to Anaheim, Calif., where they visited with the Steve Adams Ad-ams family. Members of the H. Revere Robinson Rob-inson family who observed the holiday in Paragonah included Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Jolley and children of Cedar City, members of the Clair Robinson family o! Parowan and some of the Dee White children of Summit |
