For this reason, beginning on March 1, 1960 the Iron County Reoord subscription rate will be Increased from $3.00 to $4.00 and I the single cost of the paper will raise from 5c per copy to 10c per copy. This is the first subscription increase for the Record since 1947 13 years. Bo were r. present subscribers will be given an opportunity to receive the Record for an additional addi-tional year at the $3.00 per year rate. Renewals until March 1 and advance payments by subscribers prior to March 1 will be allowed at the SXOO rate. As of March 1, however, all subscriptions, including those be- coming delinquent or already delinquent, de-linquent, will 'be charged the additional ad-ditional $1.00 per year. Another change in the Record this year will be the arrival of the paper one day earlier. In the past publishing date of the Record has been Thursday of each week. As of the first of the year the paper will be "put to bed" on Wednesday and will be distributed through the malls on Thursday rather than Friday. This, we believe, will give advertisers ad-vertisers in the Record a better service on their week end promotions pro-motions and will also Increase readership for special programs and events for the week end. This means that deadlines for materials will also be upped one day. All general releases and accounts ac-counts of club meetings and activities ac-tivities must be in by Monday to appear in that week's publication. publica-tion.
