Show Parowan Hi Alumni Reunion Preparations Started With the approach of the Iron County Fair, which is just a little lit-tle more man a month away, the officers oi the i'arowan High School Alumni Association are getting' preparations under way for the annual reunion of former graduates of that institution, according ac-cording to Ralph Orton, president of the association for tnis year. Mr. Orton is being aided by the other officers of the organization organi-zation as follows: Kay Lamor-eaux, Lamor-eaux, vice president; C'leone Rowley, Row-ley, secretary; Wanda Benson, treasurer and Ray Adams, Norman Nor-man Day and Koh Stiitihg board members. Invitations will go out from the office of the secretary within the next ten days to the more than 1,000 graduates of the school, urging them to make preparation to come to Parowan on the Labor Day week end to attend the annual an-nual alumni reunion and to also attend the Iron County Fair which is scheduled for that week end, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Mon-day, Sept. 2, 3 and 4. As usual the alumni reunion will be held at the Five Mile Recreation Rec-reation camp on Saturday evening, eve-ning, Sept. 2, and will consist of a dinner, and visiting with returning re-turning classmates and friends. It will also be the occasion for a special gathering for one or more classes at some time during dur-ing the week end, we understand. There will also be a big dance jamboree on Saturday night, featuring square dancing as well as modern mod-ern dancing. |
